Things to do in Santa Cruz de Tenerife

Santa Cruz packs in more cultural programming than anywhere else on the island, and not just during carnival season. On a single weekend you might have a symphony concert at the Auditorio de Tenerife, an exhibition at TEA, a play at the Guimerá, a trade fair at the Recinto Ferial and three or four gigs in smaller venues around the centre and the port. Finding something to do was never the problem — the problem is that every venue announces its own programme separately.

We pull together everything published in the capital — music, theatre and dance, exhibitions, workshops, sport, markets and neighbourhood fiestas — and refresh it twice a day. Filter by date, by category or by price if you're after something free, and from any plan you go straight to the organiser's own site to buy a ticket or check availability.

Bear in mind that what's on in Santa Cruz shifts a lot month to month: Carnival takes over February, summer fills the Plaza de España and the Parque García Sanabria with open-air concerts, and autumn brings the main season at the Auditorio and the theatres.
