Icod is known for its thousand-year-old dragon tree, but its agenda goes well beyond the tourist draw. The historic centre holds the municipality's cultural programming — concerts, theatre, exhibitions — and the winemaking tradition that gives the town its name still generates tastings, fairs and harvest festivals each autumn.
This page collects everything announced: music, food, family activities, workshops and the local fiesta calendar, each linking straight through to the original source.
The most spectacular event is the Tablas de San Andrés on 29 November: locals hurtling down the steep streets of the old town on greased wooden planks, a tradition tied to the release of the new wine that exists nowhere else. It draws exactly the crowds you'd imagine.
