MAO FUJITA
About the plan
Prestigious Japanese pianist Mao Fujita presents his recital 'From Clarity to Fire' at the Sala de Cámara of Auditorio de Tenerife on Friday 5 December 2026 at 19:30. This concert, part of the Chamber Series, offers a fascinating musical journey through more than a century of pianistic imagination, exploring everything from the transparency and balance of classicism to the expressive intensity of late Romanticism and modernity. The performance has an approximate duration of 1 hour and 45 minutes, including a 20-minute interval.
Tickets for this event are available from 15 €. Please note that access to the hall is only permitted for those over five years of age, and once the doors have closed for the start of the event, no entry will be allowed to ensure a quality experience for the audience.
Fujita's musical journey begins with the elegance of Mozart and his Rondo in F major, K. 494, followed by the profound introspection of Beethoven with his Sonata Op. 110. The second half of the programme transforms with the refinement of Ravel (Menuet antique) and Glazunov (Idyll). The colour and suggestion of Debussy with La plus que lente and Images, Book II give way to the expressive intensity of Scriabin (Sonata No. 4) and Rachmaninoff (Sonata No. 2 in its 1931 version), culminating in an experience of immense emotional power and virtuosity.
