The Ópera de Tenerife 2026/2027 Season presents 'Tránsito', a new and poignant production to be performed at the iconic Auditorio de Tenerife Adán Martín.
This original opera, with music and libretto created by Jesús Torres, is based on the eponymous work by renowned author Max Aub. The narrative of 'Tránsito' delves into the profound pain, displacement, and complex moral dilemmas that marked the experience of Spanish Republican exile in Mexico, promising an intense and emotional reflection for the audience.
Performances of this opera are scheduled for 4 and 5 December 2026. Both shows will begin at 19:00.
