Things to do in Güímar

Güímar has a whole valley to itself, and its programming makes use of it: outdoor activities, hiking and events around the Pyramids Ethnographic Park, alongside the usual cultural agenda in the town centre with theatre, concerts and council workshops.

The main fiesta is San Pedro Apóstol in late June, notable for the Librea: a historical re-enactment with horses and paper dragons that looks like nothing else in the Canarian fiesta calendar. Worth seeing at least once.
