Things to do in Los Silos

Los Silos is a small municipality in the Isla Baja that punches well above its weight culturally, and it does so with a clear speciality: storytelling. Its programming combines that with local fiestas, outdoor activities making the most of the Teno massif and the coast, and a very participatory village cultural life.

This agenda shows everything announced in the municipality. As the programming is mostly council-run, nearly all of it is free or costs very little.

Its international fixture is the Festival de Cuentos de Los Silos in December, which has spent more than three decades bringing storytellers from around the world and turns the whole village into a stage for a week. It's probably the most established oral storytelling festival in Spain, and the reason many people know Los Silos at all.
