Granadilla is a municipality split between two realities. The town centre, up in the midlands, keeps a village cultural life going with its municipal theatre, patron saint fiestas and romerías. El Médano, down on the coast, is another matter entirely: a European capital of windsurfing and kitesurfing, with international competitions, markets and a live music scene closely tied to the beach.
Both sides appear on this page. You'll find everything from world sailing championships to council workshops or concerts in the town square, each with its date, venue and link back to the original source.
If you're coming for the sport, check the agenda well in advance: the big El Médano events cluster in the windiest months — June to September — and usually need entering ahead of time. The rest of the programming is far more last-minute, which is why we refresh twice a day.
