Things to do in El Sauzal

El Sauzal programmes far above what its size would suggest. It's a small northern municipality, but it keeps a steady cultural calendar going between the Casa del Vino, the municipal auditorium and outdoor spaces along the coast and the viewpoints — with Teide views that are part of the appeal of any event held here.

You'll mostly find concerts, wine tastings and food events, theatre and council-run workshops. Since much of the programming is publicly funded, a good share of what appears here is free or costs very little — use the price filter if that's what you're after.

The Casa del Vino deserves a special mention: as well as a museum, it works as a concert venue and hosts tastings and fairs all year round, and it's probably why El Sauzal shows up in this agenda more often than municipalities several times its size.
