MUJERES + MIDDLE NAME
Sobre el plan
Acclaimed Spanish rock band Mujeres arrives in Santa Cruz de Tenerife to deliver a powerful concert. The band, comprising Yago Alcover, Pol Rodellar, and Arnau Sanz, has, over nearly 15 years, solidified its reputation as one of Spain's essential names in guitar music. They are the kings of rock and roll, melodic pop, and romantic songs over 200 BPM, having shared the stage with bands like Cariño and Carolina Durante.
Mujeres' songbook is already part of the emotional memory of several generations, with anthems such as "Aquellos Ojos", "Vivir Sin Ti", "Un Sentimiento Importante", and "Tú y Yo". Their beginnings in the late 2000s with their self-titled debut album (Sones, 2009) established a sound of sticky, unrestrained garage rock, a path they continued with albums like 'Soft Gems' (2012) and 'Marathon' (2015). The EP 'Aquellos Ojos' (2014) marked a turning point as they embraced Spanish as their primary language, redefining a distinct 'ye-yé' inspired pop style that has become their trademark. On this occasion, they will also feature a performance by Middle Name.
This concert promises a night of live music starting at 21:00, where raw emotions, sweat, euphoric celebration, and even hugging a stranger will become the ultimate expression of their music, attitude, and honesty.
Don't miss this great musical event in Santa Cruz de Tenerife on 12/12. An essential date in the cultural calendar of the Metropolitan Area.
