Things to do in Adeje

Adeje combines a heavily programmed tourist coast — Costa Adeje, with its hotels, shopping centres and outdoor spaces — with a historic town centre up the hill where the municipality's traditional life is concentrated. Both generate events, but of very different kinds: down on the coast, shows, live music and major sporting fixtures; up top, patron saint fiestas and community activities.

Both appear in this agenda. You'll find concerts, theatre, family activities, sport and the local fiesta calendar, each linking straight through to the organiser for tickets or timings.

The municipality's best-known event is the Pasión de Adeje on Good Friday, an open-air passion play staged in the streets of the old town that draws tens of thousands of people and ranks among the largest of its kind in Spain. If you're around at Easter, plan for it.
