Photographic Exhibition and Ambiance for International Day of Rural Women
About the plan
El Sauzal Municipal Market hosts the photographic exhibition “Raíces de Mujer: Homenaje a la Mujer Rural”, an initiative celebrating the International Day of Rural Women, commemorated annually on 15 October. This exhibition aims to highlight and pay tribute to the essential work and lives of women in the island's rural areas, through a carefully curated selection of images and a special ambiance. Admission is free.
The exhibition will be open to the public from Monday 5 October to Sunday 25 October 2026, offering a unique opportunity to reflect on the importance of women in the development and sustainability of rural communities.
You can visit the exhibition during the following hours:
- Monday to Friday: from 08:00 to 13:30 (mornings) and from 17:00 to 19:30 (evenings).
- Saturdays and Sundays: from 08:00 to 14:00.
