Cinque Cullar & The International Peace Troupe

The 21 Gospel Canarias Festival 2026 presents a performance by Cinque Cullar & The International Peace Troupe at the Teatro Leal in San Cristóbal de La Laguna. This event, part of the renowned gospel festival, offers a unique opportunity to experience the transformative power of choral music through a high-level vocal ensemble, in a concert taking place from 4 to 7 December.

Cinque Cullar is a visionary director, composer, and educator, internationally recognised as the founder and director of the International Peace Troupe (IPT). Cullar has established himself as a global ambassador for unity, using harmony – both musical and human – to build bridges between diverse cultures and social realities. With a background rooted in gospel and classical choral music traditions, his leadership combines vocal excellence with emotional intelligence and a strong commitment to global citizenship. His philosophy is clear: «when voices unite, hearts follow».

The International Peace Troupe is a vocal ensemble known for its dynamic stage presence, high-quality performances, and diverse repertoire, which ranges from traditional gospel and spirituals to contemporary global anthems. Their mission is to promote peace, healing, and intercultural understanding through the universal language of music. They have performed on prestigious stages worldwide, often acting as a musical 'peace treaty' in contexts of conflict or social tension. Their performances, characterised by a vibrant presence and impeccable vocal blend, offer immersive experiences that aim to inspire and foster a deep sense of unity among audiences.

Since its founding in 2022, the IPT has toured the United States, Europe, and Africa, bringing a message of hope to diverse audiences. The group's sonic excellence is the result of a demanding training process, with intensive coaching that covers vocal mastery (precision in pitch, blend, timbre, and multilingual diction), cultural competence (in-depth study of the historical and emotional context of the music performed), and emotional intelligence (authentic connection with audiences from different cultures).

Beyond the stage, the International Peace Troupe carries out important global educational work. In each destination, they organise transformative choral workshops for local choirs, students, and community leaders, sharing their 'Unity Through Song' method and professional training in vocal health and technique.

"Music is the heartbeat of humanity. When we sing together, we discover that our similarities far outweigh our differences." — Cinque Cullar.
