Santa Úrsula Patron Saint Festivities 2026

The municipality of Santa Úrsula is getting ready to celebrate its anticipated Santa Úrsula Patron Saint Festivities 2026, an event full of tradition, culture, and fun for all ages. For over two weeks, the town will be filled with religious events, music, sports, galas, and family activities, with most events offering free entry.

The diverse programme includes Eucharistic celebrations, folkloric offerings, sports tournaments, classic car exhibitions, traditional open-air dances (verbenas), queen and 'mister' selection galas, and concerts by renowned artists. It's an ideal time to discover the local culture and enjoy the festive atmosphere of northern Tenerife.

Sunday 4 October

• 13:00 Celebration of the International Day of Older Persons. Community lunch with performances by El Tinglado, Los Cipreses, and dancing with Elicio, at the Fernando Luis González Municipal Sports Pavilion.

Friday 9 October

• 20:00 Final of the Canarian Chapolín Team Championship 2026, at Cafetería Niros.

Saturday 10 October

• 09:00 Futsal tournament and presentation of the Santa Úrsula Pastir club for the 2026/2027 season, at Pabellón Cho Pastor.
• 18:00 9th Santa Úrsula Quality Fair, featuring Asociación Cultural Acoidán, DJ Quique Álvarez, Agua del Chorro, and Tributo Yo Celia, at the Recinto Festero (Festival Grounds).

Sunday 11 October

• 09:00 Blitz Chess and Domino Tournament, at Pabellón Fernando Luis.
• 10:00 Grand Classic Car Exhibition, on Avenida Las Palmeras.
• 16:30 2nd Santa Úrsula Baila y Tardeo Latino Festival, with Badnor, Wilcar Dance, Divas Legend, and Pointé, at the Recinto Festero de la Avenida Las Palmeras (Avenida Las Palmeras Festival Grounds).

Tuesday 13 October

• 18:30 Recitation of the Holy Rosary led by members of the Legion of Mary, followed by a celebration of the Eucharist offered for families, at Parroquia de Santa Úrsula (Santa Úrsula Parish Church).

Wednesday 14 October

• 18:30 Recitation of the Holy Rosary led by catechism children, followed by a celebration of the Eucharist with children and catechists, at Parroquia de Santa Úrsula (Santa Úrsula Parish Church).

Thursday 15 October

• 18:30 Recitation of the Holy Rosary led by the Brotherhood of the Blessed Sacrament, followed by a celebration of the Eucharist offered for the sick, at Parroquia de Santa Úrsula (Santa Úrsula Parish Church).
• 20:00 Official Opening of the Santa Úrsula Patron Saint Festivities 2026. Opening speech by designer Alexis Santana, presentation of candidates for Queens and 'Mister' of the Festivities, and performances by Haridian León and Jesús Monzón, in front of the portico of Parroquia de Santa Úrsula (Santa Úrsula Parish Church).

Friday 16 October

• 18:30 Recitation of the Holy Rosary led by young people, followed by a celebration of the Eucharist, at Parroquia de Santa Úrsula Mártir (Santa Úrsula Martyr Parish Church).
• 20:00 12th Canarian Wrestling Tournament Gregorio «El Volquete», at Terrero de Lucha José Álvarez Gutiérrez (José Álvarez Gutiérrez Canarian Wrestling Arena).

• 18:00 Gala for the Election of the First Lady 2026, with El Tinglado, Fuera de Cobertura, Pepe Benavente, and María Jesús y su acordeón, at the Recinto Festero de la Avenida Las Palmeras (Avenida Las Palmeras Festival Grounds).
• 18:30 Recitation of the Holy Rosary led by the sisters of Our Lady of Sorrows, followed by a celebration of the Eucharist on the eve of the 39th Sunday in Ordinary Time, at Parroquia de Santa Úrsula (Santa Úrsula Parish Church).
• 20:30 Youth Party with Renzzo el Selector, Soul Sanet, 101 Brass Band, LED Stilts Walkers, and Glitter Party, at the Recinto Festero de la Avenida Las Palmeras (Avenida Las Palmeras Festival Grounds).

• 19:00 Recitation of the Holy Rosary, at Parroquia de Santa Úrsula (Santa Úrsula Parish Church).
• 19:30 Solemn Eucharistic Celebration in honour of the Virgen del Rosario, co-patron saint of the municipality, presided over by Daniel Padilla Piñero, with the Santa Úrsula Parish Choir. Followed by a procession of the Virgen del Rosario and Santa Úrsula, accompanied by the A.M.C. Ernesto Beteta, and a fireworks display, at Parroquia de Santa Úrsula (Santa Úrsula Parish Church).

• 20:00 Traditional Parade of Floats for the 2026 Festivities, on Carretera España.
• 20:30 Performance by Los Sabandeños, at Plaza de Santa Úrsula.

Wednesday 21 October

• 10:00 Bouncy castles, outside the Town Hall.
• 12:00 Bell ringing, fireworks, and a celebration of the Eucharist in honour of Santa Úrsula for children and older people, at Parroquia de Santa Úrsula Mártir (Santa Úrsula Martyr Parish Church).
• 13:00 Dessert Competition, with registration at the Festivities department, and Community Paella, at Plaza de Santa Úrsula.
• 17:30 Tribute to Manolo Escobar with Arturo Castillo, at Plaza de Santa Úrsula.
• 20:00 Solemn Concelebration of the Eucharist in honour of Santa Úrsula, presided over by Juan Antonio Guedes Suárez, with the Santa Úrsula Choir directed by Javier Quintero. Followed by a procession of Santa Úrsula and the Virgen del Rosario, at the Parroquia Matriz de Santa Úrsula (Main Parish Church of Santa Úrsula). At the end, a fireworks display in front of the Town Hall.

Thursday 22 October
