Festivities in honour of Nuestra Señora de La Luz 2026
About the plan
La Orotava municipality is preparing to celebrate its Festivities in honour of Nuestra Señora de La Luz 2026, an event that will run from 29 August to 14 September. These traditional festivities offer a varied programme of popular and religious events, as well as activities for all ages, with free admission to all proposals.
During these days, residents and visitors can enjoy a blend of tradition, music, culture, and community spirit, keeping alive the festive spirit of this deeply rooted celebration in La Orotava.
One of the most anticipated moments will take place on Sunday 13 September, a day dedicated to honouring the patron saint. The day will culminate with the traditional fireworks display and offering, starting from 20:00. The organisers remind everyone of the importance of taking precautions regarding the noise of the pyrotechnics, especially to protect pets and ensure the well-being of people sensitive to noise.
If you're looking for plans full of tradition and culture in the north of Tenerife, the Festivities of Nuestra Señora de La Luz in La Orotava are an unmissable event this 29/08.
