San Juan de La Rambla Festivities 2026

The municipality of San Juan de La Rambla celebrates its traditional Festivities in honour of Our Lady of the Rosary during October 2026. An extensive programme of events combining religious celebrations, cultural events, children's activities, championships, and open-air dances for all ages, with free admission to most activities.

These patron saint festivities are an ideal opportunity to enjoy tradition and a festive atmosphere in the north of Tenerife, bringing together locals and visitors to share culture and community.

Saturday 3 October

• Flag Raising. Official start of the festivities.

Wednesday 7 October

• 20:00 Holy Mass, officiated by D. Airán Expósito Hernández and sung by Verónica Afonso and Ana Siverio Regalado. Followed by a grand fireworks display by Hermanos Tostes.

Thursday 8 October

• 08:00 Domino Championship.

Friday 9 October

• 18:00 Arrival of DV Audio Canarias sound team to prepare for the concerts.
• 20:00 Giant roasted pork leg sandwich, offered by Bar-Restaurante El Saucito.
• 22:00 Rock Night, with live performances by Fuera del Tiesto, Maldita Seattle, and Tierras del Silencio.

Saturday 10 October

• 10:00 Children's Day. Guaranteed fun with bouncy castles and foam party in the neighbourhood square.
• 16:00 Various championships for all ages.
• 18:30 Smoke Festival (Fiesta del Humo). Traditional descent along Camino Las Pencas from the shore of La Vera, enlivened by Parranda La Limera. Upon reaching the square, a large paella will be offered to all attendees.
• 23:00 Grand dance with performances by Luis Deseda and DJ Javi Plasencia.

Sunday 11 October

• 12:30 Holy Mass, celebrated by D. Airán Expósito Hernández and sung by Parranda 25 de Noviembre, from the Santa Catalina neighbourhood.
• 18:30 Arrival of the municipal music bands in the neighbourhood.
• 19:00 Band Contest, with the participation of Asociación Artística Alcaraván de San Juan and Agrupación Musical XIX de Marzo de San José. Presented by Iván García Dorta.
• 21:30 Musical performance by Bentahod. The group, founded in 2000, will offer a repertoire ranging from traditional Canarian folklore to popular music from different parts of the world.

Monday 12 October

• 12:30 Mass for the Deceased, celebrated by D. Airán Expósito Hernández.
• 18:00 Children's Festival, starring the youngest residents of the neighbourhood.
• Afterwards, handover of the Flag to the new 2027 Festivities Committee and a toast for attendees.

Saturday 17 October

• 10:30 III Orientation Games, starting from the neighbourhood square.
• Afterwards, children's games with bouncy castles and a foam party.
• 21:00 Grand Feast, by Comidas Fermín Mesa.
• Followed by a grand dance with Grupo Kimbara until the early hours of the morning.
