La Laguna Christmas Lights Switch-On
About the plan
The La Laguna City Council has confirmed the date for the 2026 Christmas Lights Switch-On, one of the most anticipated events to welcome the festive season. Following an update, the traditional lighting that fills the city's streets with light will now take place on Friday 20 November. Admission is free, allowing all residents and visitors to enjoy the festive atmosphere.
This date is earlier than originally planned (21 November) and kicks off the municipality's Christmas programme. The source also mentions that the date for La Noche en Blanco remains Saturday 28 November, featuring M-Clan as the headliner and with more surprises to be revealed soon, making November a month of major events in La Laguna.
Don't miss this traditional festive event in San Cristóbal de La Laguna on 20/11, marking the start of Christmas in the Metropolitan Area.
