Machado Festivities 2026

The Machado neighbourhood in the municipality of El Rosario is getting ready to celebrate its traditional festivities in honour of Nuestra Señora del Rosario. The multi-day event features a packed programme of religious acts, open-air dances (verbenas), sports, and culture. With free entry to most activities, these celebrations offer a great opportunity to enjoy the festive atmosphere and local traditions with family and friends.

Sunday 27 September

• 09:00 Pilgrimage to the Ermita de Nuestra Señora del Rosario from La Ermita de las Rosas.

Saturday 3 October

• 09:00 Radio activation EA8RCC Ermita ETF-092 Ntra. Sra. del Rosario.
• 22:00 Grand open-air dance (verbena) with orchestras Revelación, David Pérez, and Wamampy.

Sunday 4 October

• 12:00 Recitation of the Holy Rosary.
• 12:30 Eucharist and Procession.
• 18:00 Open-air dance (verbena) with Los Ideales.
• 20:30 Procession to El Calvario and Fireworks.

Tuesday 6 October

• 17:30 Recitation of the Holy Rosary.
• 18:00 Eucharist.

Wednesday 7 October

• 18:30 Recitation of the Holy Rosary.
• 19:00 Eucharist and musical offering to the Virgin of the Rosary with groups Pulso y Púa de la UPER, AF Amigos de La Esperanza, AF Sueños del Teide, and AF Idayra.

Saturday 10 October

• 16:00 III Brutal Trail Machado 2026 Circular Race.
• 21:30 Open-air dance (verbena) with orchestras Saoco, Acapulco, and Grupo Son Sabor.

Sunday 11 October

• 12:00 Recitation of the Holy Rosary.
• 12:30 Eucharist and Procession.
• 17:30 IV Nuestra Señora del Rosario Soloists Festival, a heartfelt tribute to Elías Rodríguez with performances by Marco del Castillo (Musical Director) and Leyla Melo, Pedro Manuel Afonso, Nico Delgado, José Manuel Ramos, Ramón Jerez, Luis Ramos, and other guest soloists.
• 21:30 Open-air dance (verbena) with orchestras Revelación and Malibú Band.

Monday 12 October — Family Day at Machado Festivities
