Traditional Festivities
Don Juan Tenorio - Finados Santa Cruz 2026
About the plan
Santa Cruz de Tenerife revives the tradition of Finados in 2026 with a cultural programme centred around the performance of the classic play 'Don Juan Tenorio', adapted to bring the performing arts to different neighbourhoods of the municipality. This free-entry event is part of the celebration of Canarian intangible heritage, offering a space for remembrance and reflection away from the rush of contemporary life. The aim is to explore tradition, memory, and the territory through performing arts and fashion.
