11th La Manzana Reineta de Tenerife Photography Competition 2026
About the plan
The 11th La Manzana Reineta de Tenerife Photography Competition invites photographers of all ages to participate. It is organised by the Asociación de la Manzana Reineta de Tenerife and El Sauzal Town Council, with the collaboration of Volcanic Xperience from the Government of the Canary Islands. This competition aims to capture the essence of the 'reineta' apple on the island, promoting creativity and the cultural value of this local product.
The period for registration and submission of photographs runs from Thursday 1 to Friday 23 October 2026. Those interested can request information from the Department of Primary Sector at El Sauzal Town Council (phone: 922 570 000, ext. #1141; email: francisco.hernandez@elsauzal.es). Photographs and attachments must be sent to cultura@elsauzal.es.
It is important that attachments are signed by hand or with an electronic signature, and submitted in PDF or JPG format. Links to the call for entries and the attachments (Registration, Sworn Statement, and Authorisation for minors) will be published soon.
There are two categories for participation, with gift voucher prizes and diplomas for the winners:
- Ages 14 to 17 category:
- 1st Prize: Gift voucher worth €150 + accredited diploma.
- 2nd Prize: Gift voucher worth €75 + accredited diploma.
- Ages 18 and over category:
- 1st Prize: Gift voucher worth €150 + accredited diploma.
- 2nd Prize: Gift voucher worth €75 + accredited diploma.
The event will culminate with the awards ceremony on Saturday 31 October 2026, at 18:00, in the Plenary Hall of El Sauzal Town Council.
