Free Workshop: Broadcasting, Production, and Streaming at the Municipal Radio Station
About the plan
El Rosario City Council, through its Department of Culture, is organising a free workshop on "Broadcasting, Production, and Streaming in municipal radio". This course is aimed at people aged 14 and over who are interested in getting started in the world of radio, with a special focus on live programme broadcasting using new technologies.
The workshop, delivered by Onda Social Radio, will run from 3 September to 29 October 2026. Classes will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 18:00 to 20:00, at the Onda Joven El Rosario studios, located at the Casa de la Cultura “Carlos Alonso” in El Rosario, La Esperanza.
The course programme, divided into theoretical and practical parts, will cover:
- Basic concepts of radio broadcasting
- Broadcasting, diction, writing, and production techniques
- Scriptwriting
- Technical direction of programmes
- Content creation
The main objective is for participants to acquire radio communication skills, foster teamwork, and even be able to present a programme project to be broadcast on the municipal radio station. It’s an excellent opportunity to get to know the radio medium and its tools up close.
Places are limited, with priority for residents registered in El Rosario. The registration period will open on Monday 24 August and close on Monday 31 August. To register, interested parties should call the Casa de la Cultura on 922 01 01 60 Ext. 1024 – 3004 (Monday to Friday, from 8:30 to 14:00) or send an email to cultura@ayuntamientoelrosario.org.
