VOLCANIA, LIFE ON MARS
About the plan
The TEA Tenerife Espacio de las Artes museum presents 'Volcania, Life on Mars', a fascinating documentary to be screened at El Corazón de Tenerife from Friday 30 October to Sunday 1 November, always at 19:00. Directed by JuanMa V. Betancort and with a script by Carla Valdés, this work proposes an intriguing analogy between the volcanic landscapes of the Canary Islands, such as Teide, Timanfaya, or the Tajogaite volcano on La Palma, and the Martian surface, transforming them into perfect settings for exploring the search for life beyond our planet and for training future space missions.
The screening on Friday 30 October will be a special event, featuring a presentation and a post-screening discussion with the director himself, JuanMa V. Betancort, offering a unique opportunity to delve deeper into the documentary's universe. The film has been subsidised by the Culture department of the Cabildo de Tenerife and is organised by TEA Tenerife Espacio de las Artes.
