The FICMEC (Canary Islands International Environmental Film Festival) returns in 2026 to screen the best environmental cinema in Buenavista del Norte. This series, named 'Como Agua de Mayo', features a carefully curated selection of films from the current festival edition, offering the public the chance to enjoy quality screenings in a unique setting.
The screenings will take place over several months, with key dates:

- Friday, 4 September 2026
- Friday, 2 October 2026
- Friday, 6 November 2026
- Friday, 4 December 2026
It's worth noting that the first two screenings, on 7 August and 4 September, will take place in the Plaza de Los Remedios in Buenavista del Norte, offering an open-air experience under the stars.
