About the plan
The 6th Tacoronte Historical Novel Festival is held with the firm purpose of highlighting the fundamental role of women in the social, economic and cultural evolution of the Canary Islands. This event will offer an enriching space to explore historical figures, events and episodes from fresh and diverse perspectives, thus contributing to the richness of the collective Canarian narrative.
The festival's multidisciplinary programme will include:
- Round tables with experts and authors
- Conferences exploring different historical periods and figures
Tacoronte Town Council has secured a grant of €28,000 from the Cabildo de Tenerife for this important cultural event.
