Teatreando 2026

The municipality of Santa Úrsula is getting ready for a new edition of Teatreando 2026, a performing arts festival taking place from 17 to 19 September. This event aims to bring theatre closer to the community and highlight the talent of the participating groups and artists.

All performances are free to attend until full capacity, and the event is held in collaboration with the Red de Espacios Escénicos del Cabildo Insular de Tenerife.

Teatreando 2026 Programme

Wednesday 17 September

• 20:30 at the Edificio de Usos Múltiples: Performance by Grupo de Teatro Fuera de Cobertura, presenting the play ‘María ke me como’. This group, which emerged in 2013 from the neighbourhood association, consists of friends and family with a passion for theatre and has created several of its own works.

Thursday 18 September

• 11:30 at Espacio CEAF: ‘De Ratones’, a family show with Melanie Henríquez that combines stories, puppets, and songs. It addresses values such as friendship, respect, teamwork, and the importance of pursuing dreams. This performance is aimed at CEAF users and their families.
• 20:30 at the Edificio de Usos Múltiples: Grupo de Teatro Club de Mayores El Tinglado takes to the stage with ‘La confesión, la estafa y el pájaro’. Active since 1994, the group has performed its works in various municipalities across Tenerife and has collaborated with different social groups.

Friday 19 September

• 12:00 at Casona Espacio Cultural: ‘Nico, un gato pirata’ by Cía. TragaluZ. A family-friendly show that transforms the stage into a cat-and-mouse adventure, featuring songs, audience participation, and values such as friendship, teamwork, and peaceful conflict resolution.
