Clown Workshop with Peter Shub - XX FIC 2026

Renowned international artist Peter Shub will lead the intensive workshop 'Make Them Laugh' at Espacio La Granja in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, as part of the XX Festival Internacional Clownbaret (FIC 2026). This workshop is a unique opportunity to learn the tools and techniques that have defined Shub's successful career, including stage presence, rhythm, comic timing, improvisation, gag creation, and the essential connection with the audience through authenticity and play.

This training is aimed at a wide audience, from performers, students, and performing arts professionals to anyone interested in exploring and discovering the language of clowning. No prior experience in clowning is necessary; all that's required is curiosity, commitment, and a desire to explore new ways of communicating through humour.

The XX Festival Internacional Clownbaret is supported by the Government of the Canary Islands, the Cabildo de Tenerife, the Organismo Autónomo de Cultura del Ayuntamiento de Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Costa Adeje, the Ministry of Culture, the Ayuntamiento de La Laguna, and the Instituto Canario de Desarrollo Cultural. Cajasiete and the municipalities of Guía de Isora, Santiago del Teide, Los Realejos, Tacoronte, Icod de los Vinos, Tegueste, and Agüimes are also collaborating. The festival is organised and directed by Lasal Producciones and Clownbaret.
