Las Noches del Patrimonio - La Laguna 2026

«Las Noches del Patrimonio» returns to San Cristóbal de La Laguna for a special 2026 edition, celebrating the city's rich historical and cultural legacy, declared a World Heritage Site. Over two days, this event offers a unique opportunity to explore La Laguna's architecture, urban history, and heritage values through a comprehensive programme of activities. The programme includes heritage routes, dance performances, guided tours of historical spaces usually closed to the public, and the presentation of a commemorative catalogue, with free access to most activities.

Friday 18 September

• VIVE PATRIMONIO - LA LAGUNA IS CURIOUS - Children's Heritage Route
• Time: Morning (closed activity for public primary schools)
• Location: Tour Santo Domingo, Ermita de San Miguel, Plaza del Adelantado, Palacio de Nava, Convento de Santa Catalina, Casa del Corregidor and the old Calle La Carrera.
• Capacity: Maximum 45 participants (closed school activity)
• Description: An interpretive route for 3rd and 4th-grade primary school students, led by a professional guide, monitor, and actress Iratze Menalbert as 'Casilda Casualidad'. Activity subsidised by the Ministry of Culture.

• ESCENA PATRIMONIO - PREMIERE OF "SANGRE MINERAL" - GEA (Chile-Peru) with Paula Quintana
• Times: 18:00 and 19:00 (2 showings)
• Location: Parque del Drago - Calle Santo Domingo, 7
• Access: Free until full capacity is reached
• Duration: 25 minutes
• Description: Site-specific performance using geophones and microcontrollers that capture real-time vibrations, transforming the environment into a sound matrix.

• ABIERTO PATRIMONIO - GUIDED ROUTES AND TOURS OF HISTORICAL SPACES
• Times: 10:00, 12:00, 17:00 and 19:00
• Capacity: Maximum 30 people per route
• Description: Guided routes exploring the architecture, urban history, and heritage values of the World Heritage Site. This activity will also take place on Saturday 19.

• ABIERTO PATRIMONIO - LA LAGUNA: A HERITAGE FROM ABOVE - Guided Tours
• Times: 20:00, 21:00 and 22:00
• Location: Convento de Santa Clara de Asis, Iglesia de Santo Domingo de Guzmán and Instituto de Canarias Cabrera Pinto
• Access: Free until full capacity is reached (maximum 20 people per showing)
• Duration: 45 minutes
• Description: Tours of elevated and exclusive spaces (towers, dressing rooms, and upper choirs) usually closed to the public. Not adapted for people with reduced mobility. This activity will also take place on Saturday 19.

• VIVE PATRIMONIO - MONUMENTA PERFORMANCE

• Description: Performance featuring nine dancers embodying the Guanche female figures from the Monumenta installation by Yapci Ramos. Heritage transformed into a corporal and symbolic experience.

• VIVE PATRIMONIO - PRESENTATION OF THE CATALOGUE "LAGUNEAR. MEMORY AND TRANSFORMATION"
