About the plan
The conference 'Spain's Longest-Standing Constitution: Balance and Perspectives', organised by the CajaCanarias Foundation, will take place at the Espacio Cultural CajaCanarias Santa Cruz. This reflective forum aims to analyse the current challenges to democracy and the relevance of the 1978 Constitution, a topic of great importance in the current political and social landscape.
It will feature distinguished experts in the field, including Benigno Pendás, Adela Cortina, María Emilia Casas, and Fernando Vallespín, who will offer their perspectives on the evolution and future of Spain's Magna Carta.
The sessions will take place on Wednesday 23 and Thursday 24 September 2026, both starting at 19:00.
