About the plan
The Women and Sport Day 2026 presents a specialised session on Pelvic Floor and Hypopressives at an advanced level, designed for women over 14 years old. This free workshop offers the opportunity to deepen your knowledge and strengthen the pelvic floor musculature, a crucial aspect for optimising breathing technique and preventing muscle weakening associated with daily physical activities such as walking, running, jumping, or lifting weights. Participating in this event will help improve the physical benefits of training and enhance daily quality of life. Free registration opens on Monday 26 October 2026.
The event will take place at a venue to be confirmed in Santa Cruz de Tenerife and will cover the following topics:
- Recognition of the pelvic floor
- Exploration of different tools to use during training
- Breathing technique and Hypopressives
- Strategies for improving daily life by recognising the pelvic floor during training
- Practical session
- Analysis of necessary physical exercise at different life stages
The course will be taught by two leading professionals:
- Mónica Rodríguez García: Graduate in Physical Activity and Sport Sciences, University Expert in Physical Activity for Improving the Health of Older Adults, and Postural Hygiene Educator.
- Aroa Álvarez González: Graduate in Physical Activity and Sport Sciences (Member No. 55638) and Physical Educator specialising in Training for Women at all stages of life.
