La Perdoma Festivities 2026

The neighbourhood of La Perdoma, in the municipality of La Orotava, is getting ready to celebrate its traditional Fiestas de La Perdoma 2026. An extensive programme of activities includes religious events, theatre, music, sports, fairs, gastronomy, and open-air dances for all ages. All events offer free admission and are designed for enjoying culture and community spirit in this popular district of La Orotava.

Wednesday 30 September

• 19:30 Solemn Mass in honour of San Jerónimo, with the participation of the Coro San Andrés y Santa Mónica, at the Iglesia de La Perdoma.
• 20:00 Theatre play “Doble Vida” by the Asociación Teatral TATRUM, at the Auditorio Francisco Álvarez Abrante.

Thursday 1 October

• 20:30 Opening Proclamation of the Festivities, followed by a performance by the Grupo Folclórico Magec, in the Plaza de la Iglesia.

Friday 2 October

• 20:30 Grand Election and Coronation Gala, with performances by Alma Show, Dancing Baby Girls, Fantasy Show and David González, at the Colegio Infanta Elena.
• 23:00 Youth Night, with DJ Enripeerez, DJ Dream and DJ Chris Hernández, in the Plaza de La Perdoma.

Saturday 3 October

• 10:00 Duathlon on Calle El Rosario.
• 12:00 Zumba classes in the Plaza de la Iglesia.
• 19:30 First Day of the Triduum, with Solemn Eucharist and the participation of the Coro Parroquial, at the Iglesia de La Perdoma.
• 20:30 Grand Wine Festival, with entertainment by Grupo Bentahod and Swing Latino Canarias, in the Plaza de la Iglesia.

Sunday 4 October

• 10:00 XXXIX Handicraft Fair, taking over the streets and surrounding areas of the square.
• 11:00 Inflatable castles on Calle El Rosario.
• 13:00 Celebration of the 30th anniversary of the 'Pan con Chorizo' Tasting, on Calle El Rosario.
• 13:30 Performances by Concuerdas y Madera, Parranda Mogaren and Parranda Pan con Chorizo, on Calle El Rosario.
• 19:00 Folkloric Festival, with performances by Grupo Tercera Edad Tagoror, AF de Higa and Parranda El Chiguet, in the Plaza de la Iglesia.

Monday 5 October

• 17:00 Gymkhana and traditional games on Calle San Juan Bautista.
• 17:30 Pet gathering in the Plaza de la Iglesia.
• 19:00 Dessert competition in the Plaza de la Iglesia.
• 19:30 Second Day of the Triduum, Solemn Eucharist with the Coro Parroquial, at the Iglesia de La Perdoma.

Tuesday 6 October

• 16:30 Horse Ring Race, at El Bosquito – La Marzagana.
• 19:30 Third Day of the Triduum, Solemn Eucharist with the Coro Parroquial, at the Iglesia de La Perdoma.

Wednesday 7 October

• 19:00 Solemn Mass in honour of Ntra. Sra. del Santísimo Rosario, by the Coral Polifónica Pedro Fuentes López, at the Iglesia de La Perdoma.
• Immediately following – Presentation of the “Ápidos de Plata” award, at the Iglesia de La Perdoma.
• Afterwards – Solemn Praise and Sacred Concert, offered by the Coral Polifónica Pedro Fuentes López, at the Iglesia de La Perdoma.

Thursday 8 October

• 19:30 Announcing Cavalcade, parading through the streets of La Perdoma.
• 21:00 Grand Drag Queen & Transformistas Gala, featuring the Ballet Be Wild, Santiguada, Drag Acrux, Iristérica de los Nervios, Drag Orgásmica and Drag Nilo, in the Plaza de La Perdoma.

Friday 9 October

• 20:00 Children's Festival, at the Colegio Infanta Elena.
• Afterwards – Grand Open-air Dance, with Grupo Saoco, in the Plaza de La Perdoma.

Saturday 10 October

• 10:00 Children's Day, with inflatable castles and a foam party, in the Plaza de la Iglesia.
• 20:30 Adults' Festival in the Plaza de la Iglesia.
• Afterwards – Puretas Party, with DJ Maxi and La Calle de Al Lado, in the Plaza de la Iglesia.

Sunday 11 October

• 10:00–15:00 Classic car exhibition, on Calle El Rosario.
• 12:00 Solemn Mass of Offerings, with AF de Higa, in the Plaza de La Perdoma.
• 18:00 Prayer of the Glorious Mysteries in the Plaza de la Iglesia.
• Afterwards – Solemn Procession and Pyrotechnic Offering by Pirotecnia Piromart, following the traditional route.
• 21:00 Flag Handover to the 2027 Commission, in the Plaza de la Iglesia.
• 22:00 Grand Popular Open-air Dance, with entertainment by Swing Latino y Su Banda, in the Plaza de la Iglesia.
