Tchaikovsky's Fourth Symphony 24/11 - 10h

The Tenerife Symphony Orchestra presents Concert A6, dedicated to Tchaikovsky's powerful Fourth Symphony, a work that explores humanity's confrontation with destiny through inner turmoil, lyricism, dance, and a final explosion of collective joy. The evening takes place in the Symphony Hall of the Auditorio de Tenerife.

The programme will open with Glinka's vibrant overture to Ruslan and Lyudmila, a piece full of theatrical impetus and orchestral virtuosity. As a novelty, the Tenerife Symphony Orchestra will premiere a new score by Fazıl Say for accordion and orchestra, featuring the performance of Ksenija Sidorova, a prominent ambassador of this instrument, bringing a flexible and deeply expressive sound. Musical direction will be provided by Delyana Lazarova, an artistic collaborator of the Tenerife Symphony Orchestra, in a programme marked by intensity and daring.
