About the plan
The International 'Island Families' Congress will be held in San Cristóbal de La Laguna, specifically at the headquarters of the Royal Economic Society of Friends of the Country of Tenerife (RSEAPT). This event, structured into three working days, will focus on the study of island families throughout history and explore the impact of Digital Humanities on historical research.
The congress will bring together highly renowned specialists from the Canary Islands, Spain, Portugal, the United Kingdom, Finland, Chile, and Uruguay. Key speakers include figures such as Carmen Sarasúa and Beatriz Moring.
