The first Canarias-Puerto Rico Cultural Encounter will be held at the Convento Santo Domingo de La Laguna on 19 September, with a day dedicated to highlighting the deep historical and cultural ties that unite both territories. This event is a unique opportunity to explore the rich shared heritage through various artistic and cultural expressions.
The day, starting from 11:00, will offer a varied programme that includes:
- Exhibitions dedicated to crafts and shared heritage.
- Interactive workshops.
- Live music featuring renowned artists.
- Sessions of oral tradition.
It will feature the notable presence of Christian Nieves, the group Decimanía, and the voice of Candelaria González, who will enrich the encounter with their talent and knowledge of Canarian and Puerto Rican culture.
