Descent of the Virgen del Socorro
About the plan
The Santa Úrsula Town Council is organising a special transfer service to facilitate participation in the traditional Descent of the Virgen del Socorro, which takes place in the municipality of Güímar. This day, deeply religious and cultural in character, allows attendees to accompany the image of the Virgin on its journey.
The service includes a bus transfer from Santa Úrsula with the following schedule:
- Departure from Santa Úrsula: on 7 September at 05:00, heading to the Church of San Pedro de Güímar.
- Return from El Socorro: scheduled from 13:00 onwards.
It is mandatory for registered participants to use the bus provided by the Town Council for both the outward and return journeys, adhering to the established times. It will not be possible to remain in Güímar once the activity has finished or to return by other means.
