X Canary Islands Fado Festival at Teatro El Sauzal

The X Canary Islands Fado Festival comes to Teatro El Sauzal to present the show 'Fado Nocturno'. This musical offering, dedicated to Portuguese fado, is the result of intensive study of the renowned Lisbon genre, led by Tenerife singer José Félix.
In this recital, José Félix, accompanied by Gabriel Hernández on Spanish guitar, will guide us through the purest fado tradition and the various authentic styles this music encompasses. It will be an intimate journey through the stories held within Lisbon's songs, offering a ritual of introspection necessary for fado to emerge genuinely and stripped of artifice, with the musical minimalism of a single guitar that prioritises the emotion of the word.
The show is recommended for all ages and has an approximate duration of 75 minutes. The date is Sunday 11 October 2026 at 20:00.

Prices and Tickets:
Ticket prices are €12 for the Standard Rate and €9 for the Special Rate. This reduced rate is available for students, under 25s, and over 65s, as well as residents of the municipality of El Sauzal (proof must be shown at the box office).
