Tejina: The Land That Beats
About the plan
Discover Tejina on this fascinating guided walking tour, titled "Tejina: The Land That Beats", a project by the Cervantear association aimed at recovering the collective memory and rediscovering this cultural enclave in San Cristóbal de La Laguna. Historically a convergence point between the mountains and the coast, Tejina maintains a vibrant identity through its traditions and folklore. This free activity focuses on the indissoluble bond between its people and the land, understood as the core element that has shaped its history, politics, culture, and festivities over the centuries.
The route is a circular tour of low difficulty through Tejina's urban centre, lasting approximately two hours. It's an ideal opportunity to explore the corners of this La Laguna neighbourhood, learn about its cultural heritage, and enjoy an outdoor activity.
The activity takes place on 28 November at 10:00, starting from Plaza de Tejina, in front of the Church of San Bartolomé. Bookings open exactly one week before the event date. For more information or to contact the organisers, you can email a.cervantear@gmail.com or call +34 623 00 49 70.
If you're looking for things to do in San Cristóbal de La Laguna, don't miss this cultural route in Tejina on 28/11, one of the most interesting Sports and Adventure plans this week in the Tenerife Metropolitan Area.
