Tejina: The Pulsating Land

Discover Tejina: The Pulsating Land, an interpretive route that explores the deep connection between the people and the land in this unique neighbourhood of San Cristóbal de La Laguna. Located between two ravines, Tejina has historically been a meeting point between the mountains and the coast, standing out for its cultural relevance and for keeping its traditions and folklore alive. It's an enclave that not only preserves the traces of its past, but actively makes it pulsate in the present.

The experience focuses on the land as the backbone that has shaped the town's history, politics, culture, and festivities throughout the centuries. The purpose is to recover collective memory and rediscover Tejina through a route.

The route is circular, has a low difficulty, and lasts approximately two hours. For this activity, bookings will open exactly one week in advance of the date. This experience has been scheduled on several dates, with editions in October 2026 on Saturday 3, Saturday 10, Sunday 11, and Saturday 17, and in November 2026 on Sunday 22, which is the current event. The meeting point is Plaza de Tejina, in front of the Church of San Bartolomé.
