Tejina: The Pulsing Land

Discover Tejina: The Pulsing Land, a guided route that aims to rediscover the rich history and deep connection of this La Laguna enclave with its territory. Tejina, located in San Cristóbal de La Laguna, sits at the crossroads between mountains and coast, and has historically been a centre of great cultural importance. Its identity pulses through its traditions and folklore, keeping the imprint of its past alive in the present.

This route focuses on the indissoluble bond between the people and the land of Tejina, understood not only as agricultural soil but as the backbone that has shaped its history, politics, culture, and festivities throughout the centuries. It's an invitation to recover the collective memory of the town, visiting emblematic places starting from Plaza de Tejina, in front of the Iglesia de San Bartolomé.

The route is low difficulty and circular, passing through Tejina's town centre. It has an approximate duration of two hours. Reservations to participate in this activity, organised by the Cervantear association (dedicated to the dissemination and protection of cultural heritage), open exactly one week prior to the activity date. Admission is free.
