About the plan
The award-winning and acclaimed comedy 'RealLove' by Alongateatro comes to El Desleal in San Cristóbal de La Laguna. This original play humorously and ironically explores the commodification of love in the digital age, while also highlighting the contradictions and everyday realities of our time. It's a theatrical production that invites audiences to laugh and, at the same time, reflect on modern relationships.
The play premiered in December 2024 at Espacio Cultural Los Ángeles (ECLA) in Güímar, where it was exceptionally well received by the audience, prompting the company to perform a longer version in both Tenerife and Lanzarote.
The success of 'RealLove' has been recognised with multiple awards. In December 2025, the play was honoured at the XXI Festival de Teatro Aficionado de El Sauzal with three significant distinctions: the Sauce de Oro, the Sauce del Público (Audience Award), and the Sauce a Mejor Actor (Best Actor Award) for Nicolás Aranda. Later, in April 2026, at the III Festival Hermenegildo Socas Cruz, it achieved further success, winning the Poleo de Plata, the Poleo del Público (Audience Award), and the Poleo a Mejor Interpretación Protagonista (Best Lead Performance Award), also for Nicolás Aranda.
