RealLove
About the plan
The Alonga Teatro company presents 'RealLove', an original play coming to El Desleal in San Cristóbal de La Laguna. This comedy ironically and timely explores the commercialisation of love in the digital age, while also highlighting the contradictions and everyday realities of our time. It's a theatrical production designed to make you laugh and, at the same time, reflect on modern relationships.
Since its premiere in December 2024 at Espacio Cultural Los Ángeles (ECLA) in Güímar, the play has been warmly received by audiences, which prompted the association to perform longer versions in Tenerife and Lanzarote. The quality of 'RealLove' has been recognised on multiple occasions:
- In December 2025, it was awarded at the XXI Festival de Teatro Aficionado de El Sauzal with the Sauce de Oro, the Sauce del Público, and the Sauce a Mejor Actor for Nicolás Aranda.
- In April 2026, at the III Festival Hermenegildo Socas Cruz, it received the Poleo de Plata, the Poleo del Público and the Poleo a Mejor Interpretación Protagonista, also for Nicolás Aranda.
