Orfeo y Eurídice
About the plan
Teatro Cine Realejos hosts ‘Orfeo y Eurídice: Un viaje para decir adiós’, a poignant puppet show inspired by the classic myth. This family-friendly event invites you on an exciting adventure that explores friendship, loss, and the ability to transform the pain of grief into learning, offering a sensitive and emotional experience for both children and adults.
The story follows Orfeo, a young musician who forms a deep friendship with Eurídice, a blue macaw that has escaped from the zoo and yearns to return to its home in Brazil. Together they embark on a journey full of discoveries, until an unexpected accident brings the bird's life to an end.
Through the visual and poetic language characteristic of puppet theatre, the show combines live music, plastic imagery, and an accessible narrative. It's an opportunity to enjoy a theatrical creation of great imagination.
Don't miss this puppet theatre event in Los Realejos on 18/10, a cultural experience for the whole family in the north of Tenerife.
