Opera Up Close
About the plan
The Ópera de cerca series, organised by Ópera de Tenerife, brings two select lyrical recitals to the island, taking the magic of opera to different municipalities. These musical events will feature sopranos Zayra Ruiz and Arantxa Cooper, who will perform a varied repertoire of great arias. They will be accompanied on piano by Carlo Manganaro, guaranteeing a high-quality musical experience.
The programme will include pieces by opera and zarzuela masters such as Mozart, Puccini, Verdi, Bretón, Vives, Roig and Delibes.
The two recitals will take place in different locations across the island:
- One in Candelaria, at the Cine Viejo Espacio Cultural.
- And the other in Icod de los Vinos, at the Sala Magdalena de la Biblioteca Municipal.
Although admission is ticketed, it's an excellent opportunity to enjoy these lyrical voices in an intimate setting.
If you're looking for musical plans in Tenerife, the Ópera de Cerca series is a sure bet in the Área Metropolitana and the Norte between 07/10 and 10/10.
