Márcio Faraco & Laurent de Oliveira
About the plan
The Auditorio de Tenerife (Sala de Cámara) hosts an intimate concert by Márcio Faraco and Laurent de Oliveira, as part of the Tensamba Festival. This Brazilian music event fuses Faraco's voice and guitar with De Oliveira's sensitive piano playing, creating a beautifully rich musical dialogue.
The repertoire offers an intimate look at Faraco's creative world, including representative songs from his discography published by labels such as Universal Music and Harmonia Mundi. The concert blends the poetry of Brazilian popular music, the subtlety of bossa nova, the rhythm of samba, and jazz influences, offering an intimate, emotional, and musically sophisticated experience. The show has an approximate duration of 80 minutes.
Márcio Faraco, with a solid international career since the 2000s and a Latin Grammy nomination, has established himself as one of the most distinctive voices in MPB, performing at festivals such as the Montreal Jazz Festival and venues like New York's Blue Note. Laurent de Oliveira, a pianist, composer, and arranger, has accompanied numerous Brazilian artists and taught jazz piano at renowned schools in Paris. His background and experience bring exceptional richness to this collaboration.
Access to the hall is restricted to over five years of age.
Don't miss this musical event in Santa Cruz de Tenerife on 07/11, an unmissable part of the Tensamba Festival in the Metropolitan Area.
