The Ópera de Tenerife 2026-2027 Season presents 'Lohengrin', one of Richard Wagner's masterpieces, at the iconic Auditorio de Tenerife Adán Martín. This opera immerses the audience in the complex plot of Elsa, who longs to believe in a miracle and a saviour, Lohengrin, to free her from harsh reality. However, around her, the community is drawn into suspicion and rumour, weaving a tragedy of manipulated trust where the truth is never fully revealed. A timeless reflection on how we follow messianic voices and simplistic discourses in the face of complex realities.
The performance will be sung in its original language, German, and will feature surtitles in Spanish and English for a full understanding of the plot and lyrics.
