Keroxen 2026 - 10 October
About the plan
The Keroxen 2026 festival hosts a day dedicated to avant-garde music and sound on 10 October at Espacio Cultural El Tanque in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. A unique opportunity to explore innovative and experimental works by national and international artists.
The day's programme includes:
- Namkhai Yeshi and Alessandro Di Maio: Presenting a site-specific acousmatic installation that explores the translation of programming language into analogue environments, inviting self-reflection and the perception of the physical and spiritual presence of sound.
- Sunday German Flowers and Gregorio Viera: The Gran Canaria band culminates its career with its seventh album (2025), characterised by an unconventional approach. Their music will be complemented by Gregorio Viera's analogue and critical vision in visual and performance arts.
- Minimalist Ensemble of the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Canarias: A student septet, led by Fernando Cano, exploring classical repertoire through minimalism and musical avant-garde.
- Agua Dulce (Alejandra Cárdenas aka Ale Hop and Laura Robles): Deconstructing traditional Peruvian rhythms, adopting a decolonial perspective through the cajón, modular synthesis, and organic soundscapes.
- Muqata'a + Fairouz Hasan: Presenting False Vectors, a project that fuses granular soundscapes with microscopic images to explore themes of disorientation, frustration, and the complexity of navigating a fragmented world.
- Praed: An explosive fusion of popular Arabic music (shaabi) with space jazz and psychedelic rock, offering sonic catharsis and a deep reflection on identity and liberation.
Don't miss this music event in Santa Cruz de Tenerife on 10 October, a date with avant-garde sound in the Tenerife Metropolitan Area.
