Grand Halloween Descent 2026

The La Tornera Festival Committee in Icod de Los Vinos presents the Grand Halloween Descent 2026, a popular and dangerous adrenaline rush that precedes the traditional cart descent along the Camino del Mocanal and the opening of the area's wineries. This unique celebration takes place on Cuesta del Cerro.

To participate in this event, it is mandatory to be well suited up to avoid burns and to wear a pumpkin helmet. The activity is restricted to over 18s, who must sign a participation waiver and pay €3 via Bizum at the time of registration. Participants must check in at the starting line 30 minutes before the activity begins, which starts from 18:00.
