San Miguel de Geneto Festivities 2026

The neighbourhood of Geneto, in San Cristóbal de La Laguna, is celebrating its San Miguel Festivities 2026 with a full programme of events, with free admission, designed for all ages. The festivities include everything from the opening parade and various galas to competitions, children's activities, live music, and religious acts in honour of the patron saint.

Thursday 24 September

• 17:30 OPENING PARADE FOR THE 2026 FESTIVITIES. Starting from Calle la Piconera and touring the various streets of the town with a noisy procession of cars and motorbikes.

Friday 25 September

• 20:00 FESTIVITIES ANNOUNCEMENT by Luis Yeray Gutiérrez, Mayor of San Cristóbal de La Laguna.
• Followed by the GRAND GALA FOR THE ELECTION OF THE CHILDREN'S, ADULT, AND SENIOR ROMERA for the 2026 festivities. Directed by Brian Díaz. Presented by: Iván García. With performances by Abubukaka, Chago Melián with his show 'Brezos y Salitre', and the Gruppo Corale Folkoristico Sot la Nape (Venice-Italy).

Saturday 26 September

• 11:00 YOUNG TALENT COMPETITION, followed by INFLATABLE CASTLES AND FOAM PARTY. Performances by Güícho Estévez and Magician Sergio Dion.
• 20:00 YOUTH NIGHT with DJ Anceu and DJ Acu & Carlos, Orquesta The Boys Machine and Orquesta GENERASIÓN.

Sunday 27 September

• 08:30 Departure of the SENIORS' OUTING from the town.
• 10:00 SOLEMN EUCHARIST at the parish church.
• From 10:30 CLASSIC CAR EXHIBITION and live broadcast of the radio show RUMBEROS FM.

Monday 28 September to Thursday 1 October

• ENVITE CHAMPIONSHIP.

Tuesday 29 September — Saint's Day

• 18:00 EUCHARIST at the parish church.
