San Miguel de Abona Festivities 2026

The municipality of San Miguel de Abona is getting ready to celebrate its traditional 2026 Patron Saint Festivities in honour of its patron, Saint Michael the Archangel. The extensive and diverse programme of events offers activities for all ages and tastes over several weeks, with most events offering free admission.

Events will take place at various locations around the municipality, including the central Plaza Don Ignacio Rodríguez López 'Cito El Practicante', the Centro de Mayores (Senior Citizens' Centre), the Casino de San Miguel, the Parroquia de San Miguel Arcángel (Parish Church of Saint Michael the Archangel), and the Motocross and BMX circuits in Las Chafiras.

CELEBRATION OF THE EUCHARIST, followed by the TRANSFER OF SAINT MICHAEL THE ARCHANGEL to the designated starting point for the Pilgrimage in his honour, where offerings of non-perishable goods will be made for the parish Caritas.

• 20:00 Parroquia de San Miguel Arcángel (Parish Church of Saint Michael the Archangel). CELEBRATION OF THE EUCHARIST IN HONOUR OF SAINT MICHAEL THE ARCHANGEL, presided over by Don Juan Antonio Guedes Suarez, Vicar General of the Diocese. Followed by a procession.
