'Canarian Made' Day 2026
About the plan
The 'Canarian Made' Day 2026 takes place at Mercado Nuestra Señora de África 'La Recova' in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, offering a day dedicated to local products and Canarian traditions. This event offers free entry (though spaces for some workshops are limited). It is designed for the whole family and is part of the Markets Support Programme, a collaborative agreement aimed at boosting local trade.
The programme will include various activities for families. Children aged 3 and up can enjoy a creative carpet for painting. There will also be a 'Canarian Ribbons' activity, where participants can write messages and tie ribbons together to create a heart-shaped decorative structure.
Additionally, there will be two workshops with limited spaces, requiring advance booking for specific time slots throughout the day:
- The 'Km 0 Products Scavenger Hunt' workshop will combine painting and games to help participants discover the best products made in the Canary Islands.
- The second workshop will focus on customising fabric bags, allowing participants to take home a souvenir decorated by themselves during the activity.
These activities are held as part of the Santa Cruz de Tenerife Trade Master Plan (2023-2028).
Don't miss this gastronomic event in Santa Cruz de Tenerife on 17/10. If you're looking for things to do in the Metropolitan Area, it's a perfect opportunity to discover local products.
