About the plan
Tarasca, an acclaimed show by Compañía Pieles, is being performed at the Auditorio Infanta Leonor de Los Cristianos, in Arona, throughout October. This theatrical production is inspired by the rich music and cultural heritage of the Canary Islands, offering a deep dive into island identity.
Through body, rhythm, and various material elements, Tarasca retrieves gestures, sounds, and memories rooted in island life. The show, considered the most awarded production celebrating Canarian folk music, is divided into three acts:
- The Home
- The Land
- The Sea
These acts build an emotive theatrical narrative about Canarian memory, identity, and cultural legacy, transforming everyday elements and traditions linked to work, land, and sea into a unique experience.
Performances will take place every Wednesday in October 2026, specifically on 7, 14, 21, and 28 October, always at 20:30. Tickets are available from 35€ and can be purchased via the official website: https://www.aronashow.com/tickets.
