The El Toscal neighbourhood in Santa Cruz de Tenerife celebrates its traditional Romería del Santísimo Cristo de Paso Alto on 2 October. This event is one of the central acts of its festivities and a heartfelt tribute to Christ, combining devotion, heritage, music, and the deeply rooted popular tradition of the neighbourhood.
The pilgrimage will begin at the Cruz de San Agustín, located in the emblematic Casa Pisaca. From this point, the pilgrims will walk along the historical and charming streets of Santiago and San Isidro until they reach the Museo de Almeyda. Here, the traditional Canarian Mass is celebrated, marking one of the most emotional moments of the day. It's a day to enjoy the festive atmosphere and Canarian culture in the very heart of Tenerife's capital.
